Autor prináša prehľad farmakologickej liečby v priebehu storočí až po súčasnú éru biologickej liečby a malých molekúl. Článok približuje autoimunitné a autozápalové mechanizmy chronických perzistujúcich zápalových chorôb, s dôrazom na imunopatogenézu psoriázy a možné využitie malých molekúl v liečbe jej ťažkých perzistujúcich foriem.

Abstract

The author gives a review of pharmacology development throughout centuries up to the contemporary era of biological treatment and small molecules. The article brings light on the topic of autoimmune and auto-inflammatory mechanisms of chronic persistent inflammatory disorders, with the focus on the immunopathogenesis of psoriasis and possible utilization of small molecules in the treatment of its serious persistent forms.
