Súhrn

Atopická dermatitída je veľmi časté, chronické zápalové ochorenie kože s neustále stúpajúcou prevalenciou, skorým začiatkom prevažne v detskom veku, u väčšiny pacientov pretrváva až do dospelosti. V etiopatogenéze sa uplatňuje genetická predispozícia, abnormálna imunitná reakcia a defekt kožnej bariéry. Ide o multifaktoriálne ochorenie, typické recidivujúcimi vzplanutiami, ktoré vyžaduje dôslednú diagnostiku a komplexnú liečbu.

Abstract
Atopic dermatitis is very common inflammatory skin disease with increasing prevalence, the early starting usually in childhood and in most patients persisting into adulthood. Genetic predisposition, abnormal immune response and skin barrier defect are implicated in the etiopathogenesis of this disease. It is multifactorial disease, typical with the relapses of the disease, and it is needed the careful diagnostics and complex treatment.
