Súhrn
Autor sa detailne zaoberá vývojom terminológie a tiež popisom klinických prejavov psoriázy v kontexte ľudských dejín. Dlhé obdobie sa psoriáza považovala za určitú formu lepry. Autor považuje za predelový fakt názor von Hebru, ktorý geniálne rozpoznal fakt, že súbežne existujú dve východiská (v zásade nesúvisiace) systematiky dermatóz: na jednej strane etiológia a na druhej klinický obraz. Okrem toho sa autor zaoberá aj vývojom jednotlivých modalít liečby tohto ochorenia od jednotlivých prípravkov lokálnej terapie až po súčasnú najmodernejšiu systémovú liečbu ochorenia.

Abstract
The author deals in detail with the development of terminology and also describes the clinical manifestation of psoriasis in the context of human history. For a long time, psoriasis was considered a form of leprosy. The author considers the opinion of von Hebra, who brilliantly recognized the fact that two (fundamentally unrelated) starting points for the systematics of dermatoses, exist simultaneously, as a watershed fact: on the one hand, etiology and on the other, clinical picture. In addition, the author also deals with the development of individual treatment modalities for this disease, from individual local therapy preparations to the current the most modern systemic treatment of the disease.
